What are you really paying for?

Has anyone ever ventured off to the store in search of a nice size chicken breast, only to come home, cook it, and watch it shrink? Chances are you might have purchased water and salt with your dinner. Many chickens are “plumped” with additives like water and salt to try to enhance some of the juiciness and flavor chicken eaters love to taste.
But why does the packaging say natural? Well, the package isn’t lying: water is natural, salt is natural. Unfortunately, consumers must carefully read all labeling information on packages to really know what is in their food.
In addition, we have all heard or been told that too much sodium intake can be harmful to our health. So, trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle may be more difficult than one thinks.
But Don’t Panic They’re Organic! is here to help that health conscious person by providing an alternative. Our company truly believes in giving you exactly what you pay for: chicken, chicken, and more chicken. We want to provide the healthiest, most wholesome kind of chicken available and know our consumers will find value in our efforts to accomplish this in a humanitarian atmosphere.

    1. That is correct. In the end, we can always add our own additives/flavors but who would want to do that when our chickens will contain all natural flavors! Chicken is good tasting, we do not want to ruin that with adding a bunch of junk on it.

  2. I've always prefer eating organic food over the alternatives. I like how you guys are aiming for organic food. Also, like how you guys are concerned about consumers' health issues. Many consumers doesn't seek other other options because they're not acknowledge with the information. I agree with the comment above, " the more chicken the better"

  3. I think there are many misleading sign or advertising on the products around us. I just trust them what they say and indicate. I am not so strict about what I shop at grocery and my consumprion. But I try to avoid the products that they have uncertain ingredients and unsufficient amount of artifitial flavors. I hope that the sign show more clear to understand their contains.

  5. I like the idea of offering healthy food to your target market. This days it is hard to stay in shape and to know what we way. Companies mix all type of chemical and stuff in the food they make that we don't even realize the things we eat are bad. So I am your company is offering organic chicken and so we don't have to worry about eating unheatly if we buy from you. I hope the price will not be to high!

    1. Yes you are right, it is difficult to stay healthy with the food our culture is accustomed to. We forget that food should be natural and not come out of a box. Our chicken will be very reasonably priced for the quality you will be receiving.

  6. Wow this shows how tricky advertising can be. Many companies seem to twist the facts, although their statements are technically true. By providing consumers healthy organic food and trustworthy advertisements and labels, your company will earn the respect it deserves.

  7. This was an insight! I always purchase chicken breast that say "100% natural". I have always asked myself why thy shrink after defrosting them before cooking. I bet if more people know about this fact they will sure prefer your chicken over the other ones. I do believe that people would be uncertain of which brand to purchase from at first, but they will know the difference once they purchase it from you guys.

    1. Alex, as we market it is our goal to inform current and potential customers information about the significant differences of non-organic and organic chickens are, especially with the shrinking from all the extra additives. We would like to better inform people what they are actually put into their bodies

  8. This information is new to me, but it is not as surprising since we can think people would do whatever to advertise their product. However, after knowing this information, i will definitely buy organic chicken even though the price will be a little bit higher (but of course if the price is the same, that is much better), but it will be good to my health.

  11. Chicken producers are allowed to advertise whatever they want on their labels, and I just find it nauseating. You never know how it was processed/treated unless it has been certified organic by an authorized agency. My mom would always tell me about the chickens she raised back in Vietnam were healthy, happy, antibiotic-free, and laid the best tasting eggs.

  12. I think that you bring up a great point concerned with buying chicken at the grocery store. There are companies that inject their chicken breasts with salt water to make the chicken look fuller and keep a nice color while in the store. The most important reason they do this is to increase pre-cooked weight which also causes you to pay more for their products than you are actually consuming, thus making it more expensive for less product. For this reason, having organic chicken that is not pumped full of salt water offers a better value since you get more of what you paid for after it is cooked. Not only will it allow a better value for organic buyers, but it will also have more taste and be healthier for the consumer.
